    Schools Volunteer Programme

Soksan Internation School (SIS)Soksan International School has been opened since 2012 and currently teachers over 130 students from the local area.

Our school follows an inquiry-based learning style and is very much student driven. Our students, currently P-3, learn in a huge range of elective subjects, as we believe that every student is an individual, and their education should be tailored to their interests. We also believe that each minute of the school day should be interesting and fun

In October 2009 the Cambodian Kids Foundation suffered a tragic loss when one our little friends, Kimyeng (20 months), passed away. Kimyeng had been playing outside while his parents were at work, he had gone off from the other kids and sadly drowned in a puddle, only a few cms deep.

From Kimyeng's death a number of parents in the village asked that we open a daycare facility up, the worried that if they stayed home all day to care for their children they would not make enough money to feed their family, they were not sure which risk to take.
