Thanks for your interest in sponsoring one of our beautiful children. 

The one thing you must know first about our sponsorship programme is that we are unlike many other organisations you can sponsor with, we know every child's name, every family's situation and we are updated on the wellbeing and situation of each child everyday.

Our children are real, they are never sponsored out more than once and they actually receive the help as listed below. 

Child sponsorship is $50.00 AUD a month, however we do also offer project sponsorship for our many projects and programs, 

CKF Project/Budget sponsorship starts at $50.00 AUD a month and is not limited to how much you can donate per month. Project sponsorship is based on the actual cost to run a specific project for a designated time period.

The money you donate for child sponsorship is based on the average cost for us to provide all of the amazing help we do to the children and families of Soksan Village. 

This includes:

Education

Medical treatment/ Sanitation

Income generation

Emergency fund

Education: Provides children with free education at the Soksan International School, pays for the child to attend Public School in Kampong Thom.

If the child is under five it provides free education at our Kimyeng Centre.

Medical Treatment / Sanitation: This provides our Kimyeng Medical Clinic with the funds needed to help your sponsored child if they are in need of minor treatment or medicine. We also provide families with water filters and safe covered wells.

Income Generation: We have many income generation projects to assist families including - Sew Good (Sewing group), Plant it Forward (small scale agriculture), Soksan Community Garden (A community produce garden) and more.

Emergency fund: Every now and then a child will require expensive procedures or surgery or may need to spend a lot of time in hospital or even be transported to another province to be treated. Sponsorship funds make up an emergency fund for theses cases.

With all of our child sponsorships you will receive a small profile about them and their family, showing you their house brothers and sisters and a little info about them.

After that you will receive regular updates consisting of drawings, letters (depending on their age) and photographs. 

We ask that you do not send gifts that we are unable to match.

For example many sponsors choose to send clothing, which we hold on to until we give every child clothing, every few months we will give all of the children a new outfit.

We do not give one child what we cannot give to another, its the only way to keep everyone happy and make it fair. 

Gifts of toys, books etc - will be kept at the school, kindergarten etc and used accordingly but never would we give toys to just one child.

We currently have just over 60 children in need of sponsorship. We match children up to their sponsor the best we can, for example of sponsors have children and are looking for a child of similar age we try our best to meet those needs, we do not let our sponsors pick and choose which child they would like to sponsor as we don't think it is very nice, we also aim to get high priority children sponsored first, children that may need special attention, that have a lot of brothers and sisters and that are from a very very poor family. 

So if you do choose to sponsor with us you won't be able to pick which child you will only be able to send us a request regarding age, gender etc. and we will try our very best to meet those requests - we have not had one unhappy sponsor yet!
