Thank you for your interest in CKF and our budget. 

The one thing you must know first about our sponsorship programme is that we are unlike many other organisations you can sponsor with, we know our community, our village and school, we provide first hand help to our community.

To educate our children, we have real costs and CKF is run by volunteers, so there are no wages paid to anyone who helps the foundation, who is not Cambodian. 

Budget sponsorship starts at $50.00 AUD a month, however if you would like to sponsor the budget monthly for another amount, please contact our tresurer, Ian Cooper, at: [email protected].

The average monthly budget is AU $20,000 and is expected to rise, given the increase in the number of projects and the number of students at the Soksan International School that need us to teach them. 

In our 2013-14 annual report, it states that 51% of our funds come from donations and 21% from sponsorships. As we look to creating a more sustainable model of income, we would like to see 80% of the budget covered by sponsorship by 2017. This is a total of 560 sponsors at $50 per sponsor. In 2014 that number was at 105 sponsors. To increase this number five-fold, CKF is looking for people who are able to help with at least $50 per month.

CKF is an organisation that prides its values, we works with the people to help the people. By those that run CKF not taking wages, you can be assured that every dollar you sponsor will go to the people that CKF help. It will help those who most need it; by keeping the projects running, everyone benefits and the good work of the Cambodian Kids Foundation can continue for many years.

By sponsoring a project, we are able to designate a particular part of our budget that your donation will go towards, just let us know your particular area of interest and we will try to find something suitable.

Because this form uses PayPal, 2.5% of your donation goes to PayPal to keep the service running. If you feel the need in contributing this 2.5% of your donation, we would be most grateful if you were to increase your donation by 2.5% to cover the service fee from PayPal. Credit Card payments can also be made through PayPal, by selecting the appropriate payment method when redirected to PayPal.
